C125 USB-C Analog Headset Module

The USB-C Analog Headset Module (C125) is a USB-IF compliant USB Audio Device with an integrated USB-C plug. It is used to create USB-IF compliant headsets supporting up to 24-bit/384 kHz stereo and up to 24-bit/48 kHz mono (microphone) audio. The C125 is customized to include the headset vendor’s USB descriptors, maximum audio sample rate, and input/output/sidetone EQ using the C125 Image Creator Tool.

  • Up to 384 kHz stereo headphone-level output and 48 kHz mono microphone input

MEMS Analog Microphone

  • Connects to C125 Microphone Bias and Return

Headset Remote and Microphone Transmitter

  • Transmits Volume Up, Volume Down, and Center button controls over the microphone bias to C125

    • 7-band parametric input/output EQ and 3-band parametric sidetone EQ

    C125 USB descriptors are programmed as a headset and cannot be reconfigured. C125 does not support USB-C to 3.5mm headset jack adapters.
  • Does C125 convert audio from DSD?
    C125 is converted from PCM and not DSD.
